| 2nd Police Martyrs Memorial T-20 Cricket Championship kick starts | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
Kathua Dec 13: 2nd Police Martyr’s Memorial North Zone Inter Club T-20 Cricket Championship 2011-12 got a extravagant start on 11th of Dec, 2011 at District Sports Stadium Kathua.
The function started with paying floral tribute to martyrs of J&K Police, who sacrificed their lives for the motherland while performing their duties.
On the 3rd Day of the Police Martyr’s Memorial North Zone Inter Club T-20 Cricket Championship only one match was played between Shashipal Cricket Club Jammu and Jr. Khalsa Cricket Club Jammu.
In this Match, Jr. Khalsa Cricket Club Jammu registered 8 wickets win over Shashipal C. C. Jammu to make it to the next round.
Earlier, batting first after winning the toss Shashipal Cricket Club Jammu set a target of 135 runs in 20 overs, which in reply Jr. Khalsa C.C. Jammu easily made 136 runs out of 2 wickets in only 15.3 overs.
Ranjeet was top scorer with 74 runs in just 51 balls and Gurpreet took 2 wickets. On the other side, Shashipal C. C. Jammu, Happy was the top scorer with 46 runs & Girdhari claimed 2 wickets.
Ranjeet Singh made 74 runs from 51 balls was rewarded with memento and Rs. 1000/- as Man of the Match, by Ravinder Singh Jasrotia.
On the 4th Day of the tournament on 14/12/2011 again only one match will played between Diamond Club Jammu and Raina Cricket Club Jalandhar at 1100 hrs .
