Seventeen doctors sacked for remaining absent from duty | | | early times report Jammu, Dec 14 : The Jammu and Kashmir government today terminated the services of 17 doctors for dereliction of duty. The medicos were dismissed from service by the state Health and Medical Education Department which took a strong view of their absence from duties for different periods between 2003 to 2008, a release from the department said. All the doctors were assistant surgeons and have been served several notices to report to duty, it said.
