VHP refutes CEO-SASB claims

Jammu Dec 14: Reacting to the claims of CEO SASB, the Vishav Hindu Parishad (VHP) today stated that CEO of Shri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB), R K Goyal is himself trying to create confusion in the minds of general public and all the stake holders of Shri Amarnath Yatra and it is not the VHP.
VHP leaders stated that SASB firstly ignored the request of a delegation of VHP to meet the Governor of J&K State and then tried to brush aside the issue by making baseless allegations against VHP Leaders.
Surinder Jain, National Secretary VHP through this statement wants to convey that he himself has sent an Email to the CEO of SASB on 10thNovember,2012 which was again resend on 15th November, 2911 for seeking an appointment with the Hon’ble Governor of J&K State, N.N. Vohra who is also the Chairman of SASB, which was also acknowledged himself by the CEO of SASB, R K Goyal by sending a return SMS to Jain, and time of meeting with the Governor was not allotted to them till 7thDecember despite of repeated requests, they submitted their Memorandum on 8th December 2011 through the CEO of SASB to the Chairman of SASB.
VHP through this statement intends to clear that it is the CEO of SASB which has been telling lies by making false statements which shows themelafied intentions of the State Government.
VHP leader Surinder Jain stated that VHP through this memorandum wanted to convey that Shree Amarnath Yatra is conducted keeping in consideration the traditions of Hindu Religion and they simply wanted to put forth their view point to the Governor of J&K State who is also the Chairman of SASB regarding the Amarnath Yatra 2012, which they were denied.
