12/15/2011 12:03:01 AM
EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 14: Hindustan Shiv Sena ((HSS) today held the meeting of its central body along with the senior state leadership to discuss the on going stir of the Bar Association Jammu (BAJ).
The meeting condemned the government order for transferring the process of land registration to the revenue department.
While addressing the body the national president HSS Dimpy Kohli Sena said that government should roll back this order as this has led the lawyers to go on strike, which has affected the working of the courts and even the public is suffering for the last 20 days.
The demand of the BAJ is genuine and should be accepted at once.
Kohli said HSS is totally behind lawyers in their struggle and even ready to fight with them to get the justice.
He further said that the land registration power given to revenue department will give rise to corruption and even led to grabbing by the land mafia.
HSS leader urged the government to cancel the land transfer order so that the normal working is resumed in courts and the public do not suffer any more.
