| JKRWF protests Lokpal bill draft, holds dharna | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 14: In support of Anna Hazare's fight against corruption and to protest against the draft of the Lokpal Bill made by the standing Committee of the Parliament, a "dharna protest" was organized by J&K Rural Women Foundation (JKRWF).
The protest was organised under the leadership of its president Sunita Sharma.
Speaking on the occasion, Sunita Sharma said that it was a mockery with the people of the country, mockery with the democracy and a shame for the present Government.
She further said that Anna rightly said that Singhvi the Chairman of the standing committee went against the wishes of the seventeen members of the committee and with the concern of only 11- members, he obeyed the Lok Pal Bill, which was nothing but a toothless, hand less, feet less body , a cruel joke with the democratic institutions.
Sharma expressed her full faith with Anna Hazare and said that whole of India (Indian Citizens) was with Anna and would protest with Anna from Dec. 27, 2011, until, the goal was achieved. The people have fed up with present leadership and want honest, working and truthful leadership which would lead India to the era of prosperity.
Nirmal Rattau exhorted the youth and the women folk to come forward and join hand with Anna Hazare to root out corruption and corrupt leadership from the country and work for a prosperous and powerful India.
