JKMPJ | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu Dec 14: In a meeting of All J&K Movement for Peace & Justice (JKMPJ) was held under the chairmanship of Anil Kumar, Chairman JKMPJ Block Thathri appealed to Chief Minister to re-initiate an inquiry in construction projects in Batyas Schools and urged him to take appropriate action against the guilty and the other members of nexus for submitting a fraudulent report to the ZEO, Bhatyas. During the meeting the members stated that construction of Two buildings i.e. Boys Middle School Joura Kalan & Middle School Kunthal (ST population) of Tehsil Thathri, District Doda is defective and sub standard material was used by the contractors. “The GI sheets of Boys Middle School Joura Kalan have already got blown off by a wind storm and the children had a narrow escape, they pointed out. They recalled that a inquiry was conducted by ZEO, Bhatyas in this regard who also had found the JE and contractors guilty of corruption and advised them to remove the construction defects but later the case got mild with reports that the JE had submitted a written report to his office that the defects had been removed. “But this was totally false report as the GI sheet of the roof of Boys Middle School Joura Kalan are still lying on the ground, speakers said. They also demanded to construct the Panchayat Ghar’s on contract bases and the land owners should be paid cash payment of the land and also appoint as an employ, as a Chowkidar.
