NSF demands probe in B.Ed bungling | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Dec 14: The activists of National Secular Forum (NSF) today held demonstration against the B.Ed bungling and failure of Jammu University administration to punish the erring institutions. Addressing a gathering, the NSF president Vikas Sharma urged the Governor N N Vohra to personally look into the issue of BEd bungling and order Crime Branch enquiry to unravel the unholy nexus of Jammu University officials and owners of BEd colleges. “Though, an internal enquiry was ordered by the Vice Chancellor to probe the same but off late the same has been put in the back burner, he added. Sharma added, BEd colleges are demanding re-opening of counseling to fill the vacant seats but already two months of academic session has passed and under these circumstances, the re-opening of counseling holds no substance. VC is trying to protect the tainted colleges and officials. Sharma warned if no action by the University against the BEd malpractices, the NSF activist will launch agitation in a big way. Among those who were present in the protest included Surjit Choudhary District Chairman, Ravi Choudhary District President, Rahul Sharma, Shafqat Malik Chairman University Unit, PP Singh, Sahil Sharma Working President University Unit, Zamer, Nitin Chandal and others.
