| Dr Parbati’s demise condoled | | |

Jammu, Dec 14: The Department of Urdu, University of Jammu today has condole the death of noted Urdu Poet & Associate Professor of Iqbal Institute Kashmir Dr Fareed Parbati who today expired after a brief illness. In this connection, a condolence meeting today held in Department of Urdu ,which is presided over by Prof Shohab Inayat Malik, HOD Urdu. Prof M A Wani.
In a condolence meeting Prof Sukhchain Singh, Dr Chaman Lal Bhagat, Dr Mohd Reyaz Ahmed, Dr Abdul Rasheed, Dr Farhat Shamim paid rich tribute to Dr Fareed Parbati and described his death great loss to the Urdu language and literature in the state. They described him a towering poet of Urdu Language in the state. At the end of meeting two minutes silence was observed in the memory of departed soul.
