Udhanpur Dec 14: Udhampur Police rescued 04 bovine animals which were being transported from Udhampur to Kashmir valley in a Tata mobile, police said
Police said that based on an input, a Police Party of P/S Chenani laid a surprise naka at National Highway and during wee hours at about 0400 hrs today intercepted one bovine smuggler who was smuggling 04 bovine animals to Kashmir valley in a Tata Mobile bearing Registration No. 3640/JK12.
The arrested has been identified as Zubair Ahmed S/o Akram R/o Batote, Tehsil Ramban, police said adding, “a Case FIR No. 137/2011 under section 188/RPC, 3 PCA Act stands registered at Police Station, Chenani against the accused.
