ANC up against corruption | Writes letters to civil society, demands white paper from GOI | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu Dec 14:- The Awami National conference (ANC) has launched a massive campaign against corruption. The party has written letters to civil society actors including retired judges, social activists, former legislators and prominent citizens ANC has sought support of the people for fighting the menace of corruption which according to it has spread like cancer. The chairperson Khalida Shah and her son Muzaffar Shah have declared their assets and urged other politicians to follow suit. Talking to the “Early Times” ANC Senior Vice President Muzzafar Shah confirmed that his party has sent letters to people seeking their cooperation for fighting the menace. Shah feels happy over the response from the civil society actors. He said that his party feels happy over the way the members. Even team Anna has hailed our initiative”, he said. Shah demanded a white paper by new Delhi on utilization of around one lac corers that have been given to Jammu Kashmir since independence. “Any funds utilized for the welfare of the security forces in Jammu Kashmir may not be treated as funds given to the state government”, he demanded. He sought support from the common masses.
