| MLC Ravinder conducts tour of Nowshera | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
NOWSHERA, Dec 15:Member Legislative Council and General Secretary Pradesh Congress
Committee (PCC) Ravinder Sharma conducted tour of Hanjan-Rajal,
Lamberi-Dandani area of Nowshera tehsil and took stock of the problems
of people.
Sharma was apprised about the various demands by the Sarpanches,
Panches and prominent persons of these localities. At Hanjana, the
people expressed their difficulties about power and drinking water
besides put forth demand for upgradation of Middle School and proper
road connectivity to Devnagri Hanjana.
Later, Sharma addressed a largely attended meeting at village
Dandani-Lamberi organised by Sarpanch Mohinder Soodan where Panches
and prominent people of the Panchayat addressed the gathering.
Sarpanch Mohinder Soodan and several prominent members of the society
formally joined Congress party before Sharma. They extended full
support to his efforts for the welfare of the people of the area.
Various demands put forth included Ration depot, upgradation of Middle
School, road connectivity to Dumchaprar and Mata Mandir, Jhulla Bridge
to Thichka and improvement of water supply.
