| Retd Judge Kapoor appointed as Member J&K Consumer Commission | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Dec 15 : Govt of Jammu & Kashmir Consumer Affairs and Public
Distribution Departments Civil Sect Jammu on the recommendation of the
selection committee has appointed D K Kapoor (Retired District &
Sessions Judge Jammu) as Member of Jammu & Kashmir Consumer Disputes
Redressal Commission (State Commission) for a period of five years.
According to the notification Commissioner/Secretary to Govt CAPD
Deptt Pardeep Gupta IAS in exercise of powers conferred by the
sub-section 1 of section 14 of the Jammu & Kashmir Consumers
Protection Act 1987 r/w rules 12 (II) of the J&K Consumer Protection
Rules 1987, the Govt appointed D K Kapoor retired District & Sessions
Judge as member of the State Commission for a tenure of next five
years.
