| Sham visits Shalimar Garden | | Inspects renovation work of Mughal Hamam | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, DECEMBER 15: The Minister for Health and Horticulture, Mr. Sham Lal Sharma today visited Shalimar Garden and inspected the progress of the repair/renovation work of the famous Hamam of Mughal period constructed in 1619A.D.
The Minister was informed that the centuries old Hamam is being renovated at the cost of Rs. 52 lakhs. Out of which Rs. 30 lakhs have been expanded on the project so far.
The Minister stressed upon the officers for early completion of heritage site so that it will be opened for tourists, which will to improve the scenic beauty of Shalimar Garden.
