| Power shut down | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, DECEMBER 16- In order to carry out the work of replacement of old BOCB with new VCB, the shutdown of 50 MVA transformer at 132/33 KV Grid Station Akhnoor on December 18, 2011 from 8.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. is allowed.
During the period of shut down, power supply to the areas of Akhnoor, MES, Tanda and Ranjan Lift Irrigation shall remain affected.
Meanwhile, in order to carry out rectification of old weak points and replacement of worn out jumpers/droppers etc besides routine/preventive maintenance at the Grid station, the shutdown of 220 KV, 132 KV & 33 KV yards of 220/132/33KV Grid station Udhampur on December 18, 2011 from 7.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon is allowed.
During the period of shut down, power supply to the areas of Udhampur, Army, Ramnagar, Chenani, Airforce, Kishtwar, Doda and Chenani power House shall remain affected.
