| JKBOSE efforts to streamline ETT course appreciable: JPSETTIA-P | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 16:Hailing the fresh initiatives of J&K Board of School Education
(JKBOSE) to streamline the Elementary Teachers’ Training (ETT) course,
the Jammu Private Schools & ETT Institutes Association-Progressive
(JPSETTIA-P) termed the steps of administration a bit late but in
right direction.
In a meeting of the Jammu Private Schools & ETT Institutes Association
(Progressive) held here under the chairmanship of its President Deep
Singh, the members said that ETT course of the Board is almost
constantly rather completely derailed due to almost defunct policies
of the ministry concerned.
Association appreciated the BOSE administration for implementing the
long pending decisions of a high level meeting headed by the education
minister, dated 11-11-2009 in order to centralize the ETT admission
process with full control of the Board and to do away with the agent
system.
Association stressed up on the state government to maintain the
sanctity of the institution i.e. JK BOSE and allow it to function as
per the needs under the supervision of academicians only.
So for as monitoring part is concerned government is fully empowered
to ensure the same as and when required, it added.
