JAMMU , December 16 : A delegation of JKATA led by President Dr. Surinder Radotra met Minister S S Slathia .
Dr Surinder Radotra revealed the grievances/hardships being faced by the serving REZ’s regarding their regular absorption in the Agriculture Production Department.
Radotra expressed that the technocrats are providing services to the Agriculture Production Department on mere 3000 per month and they are going to complete their 5 years of service in April 2012, but it is pathetic attitude of the state Government that it has not overcome the genuine demands of the Agri-technocrats who are demanding their regularization on the pattern of Rehbar- e -Taleem but Government is not paying any heed towards their regularization .
Minister gave patient gearing towards the demands raised by the technocrats and assured that in the forthcoming cabinet the matter of the regularization should be discussed with the other concerned authorities and said their demands will be fulfilled in black and white.
Minister also disclosed that it is total injustice for the professionals and trained technocrats that the government announced its 7, 8, 9 years policy for them for regularization at par the new recruitment policy is kept for 5 years for the non-professional people.
Minister accepted that this is total injustice with the professional people as this lead to the non-interest of the students to take admissions into the Agriculture Universities and he said that if this thing will go on then these words that “Agriculture is the backbone of the National Income” will be diminished.
