| NSF lends support to BAR Association | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU , December 16 :: The National Secular Forum (NSF) held a meeting here today in support of the ongoing agitation of the Bar Association, Jammu, against the handing over of the registration powers to the Revenue Department.
Speaking on the occasion, District Chairman NSF Surjit Choudhary said the government was deliberately ignoring the authentic demands of the Bar Association.
Surjit Choudhary has urged N N Vohra , the Governor of J&K to intercession to resolve the situation created by tedious decision of the J&K government to shift registration of documents from the judiciary to the executive with a illicit intension to undermine the integrity of the judiciary and promote corrupt practices in the already corruption ridden Revenue Department in the state.
Among those who were present in the meeting included Sukdev Singh, Ravi Choudhary, Shafqat Malik, PP Singh, Sahil Sharma, Ankit Raina, Amit Sharma, Rahul Sharma, Pawan Sharma, Sunil Kumar, Samarian, KD Singh, Pardeep Sharma, Ajaz Shah, and others.
