| Anil Padha selected for 'Global Achiever Award’ | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 16:Anil K Padha, a well known social activist and Chairman Stepping Stone
Foundation School Jammu has been selected for the prestigious 'Global
Achiever Award’ by the Citizen Integration Peace Society, New Delhi on
account of his contribution made in different socio-economic
developments.
The award shall be presented in a high level conference on
"Celebrating the Global Indian," on Dec 27 at Dubai, UAE. This
conference will focus attention on historical importance of our
relations, economic collaboration and International peace and
solidarity: The UAE has dynamic community of Indian Nationals and
persons of Indian origin who have contributed to the economy of UAE
significantly as well as to the bonds of friendship and co-operation
between the two countries as stated by the organizers.
Padha has already been honoured by various Government and Non
Governmental organizations for his selfless service in the field of
voluntary blood donation movement for the last over three decades and
is presently rendering his free services as Honorary Secretary Indian
Red Cross Society, Jammu region.
