| PSU employees demand conversion of COLA into DA | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 16:All Public Sector Employees & Workers Federation strongly criticized
the state Government and management of the different PSUs for non
implementation of the recommendations of sixth pay commission and
orders of conversion of COLA into DA to PSU employees.
In a meeting held under the chairmanship of its chairman Joginder Pal
and President Amrik Singh Sasan criticized the M.D Agro Industries for
not putting any demands of its employees in the meeting of BOD and
getting only the promotion orders of some higher rank officers.
Nar Singh, chief patron of the Federation endorsed full support in
favour of agitating employees of J&K Minerals for redressal of their
long pending genuine demands and warned Government that in case of any
mis-happening or tragedy in Kalakot coal mines, where the employees
have been forced to perform duties, then the Government and Management
shall be held responsible for the same.
Federation unanimously appealed the Chief Minister for personally
intervene into the matter of J&K Minerals and redressal of the demands
of PSUs including regularization of daily rated, adhoc, consolidated
workers, implementation of 6th pay commission recommendations in all
PSUs viz-a-viz conversion of COLA into DA with required financial
assistance.
