| Dalit Sena demands probe into distribution of solar lights | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 16:National General Secretary Dalit Sena Anil Kumar Bhagat has appealed
to Chief Minister and Rural Development Minister to conduct enquiry
into the alleged discriminatory distribution of solar lights in
villages Hoja and Jia.
The villagers along with Sarpanch Jia Panchayat & panch approached to
the concerned BDO, Tehsildar Thathri and DC Doda but no enquiry order
has been issued by them.
Bhagat further said that the first phase of sanctioned 16 Kms
Kahara-Jai road up to Joura was consumed up to Halaaran only because
many unnecessary turns of the road were made in order to touch the
houses of many influential people at the behest of then R&B minister.
The stretch from Halaran to Joura Kalan, a distanced of 1 kms was thus
illegally ignored
