| Aryans Group to hold Admission cum Scholarship Mela in December end | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu/Srinagar Dec 16: Around 21 scholarships worth Rs 21 lakhs would be distributed on the spot to the needy & weaker section of the valley in “Admission cum Scholarship Mela 2012” to be organized by Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh in the last week of December.
Giving this information to media, Varindar kaur, Coordinator, Aryans Group said that The students who are interested to attend the Scholarship Interviews for MBA,PGDM,BBA,BCA and B.Tech (Civil, Mechanical, CSE,EEE& ECE) need to get prior registration on [email protected] or by call on Helpline Number 098762-99888,098765-99888.

She further said that last Year also Aryans organized around 3 Scholarship camps where in around 60 meritorious students were selected on Merit-cum-Means basis. One part of fees was funded by Aryans, one part by Bank & balance was paid by student himself. It is to be mentioned that many J&K students opted B.Tech Civil as there is a lot of demand of B.Tech Civil in the valley because of the ongoing infrastructure projects.
She said that those students who cannot afford to pay the tuition fees can avail the benefit of the scholarship. The candidates must bring their academic and income documents. The scholarship amount would be between Rs.10, 000 to Rs.3, 00,000 per student.
It is to be mentioned that Aryans 20acre campus is situated on Chandigarh- Patiala highway. The group is running MBA, BBA/ BCA, B.Ed and Engineering College. The Group proposes to start Polytechnic & Junior Science College i.e. +1,+2 (Med & Non Med). Hundreds of Jammu and Kashmir students are studying in Aryans Campus.
