Three – day IT EXPO 2011 begins | | | early times report Jammu December 16: Three – day IT EXPO 2011 opened with grand pomp & show in Jammu yesterday which would be continuing till 18th December 2011. The JCDA IT SHOW has been considered as the most powerful, flexible and highly cost-effective business tool, as well as, being a significant wealth generator in its own right. The EXPO was inaugurated by Sh. Raman Bhalla, Hon’ble Minister for Revenue & Rehabilitation of J & K Government. Anand Jain SSP Jammu was then Guest of Honour.“The major sponsors for the IT show this year are Intel, whereas the co-sponsors include Epson, Digisol, HP-Compaq and Sharp. There are around 40 stalls in the expo. We are expecting a huge crowd of at least 50 (Fifty) thousand people. The major highlight this year are the 'Next Generation IT category, which includes products like Tabloids, Cloud Computing, Latest Processing Technologies, Large Format Printers, Latest Networking and Wireless Products, Security Products and many more. Every year we organize this events to introduce the latest technologies to the people of Jammu said Arvind Koul, President, JCDA. According to Arvind Koul, “The JCDA IT EXPO has been one of the most effective mediums for establishing and maintaining customer relations, as seen last year also.” “In an increasingly digital age, we are the only media in Jammu through which the IT buyers, sellers and products physically come together, to form a potent force for business. We also provide a highly flexible environment in which a wide range of sales and marketing objectives can be achieved; from generating sales leads and launching new products, to building brand image, maintaining customer relations and appointing new agents,” added Koul.
