jammu: Crime Branch, Jammu today has registered a case against Ravinder Gupta @ Gola Shah and two others for allegedly hatching a criminal conspiracy and cheated the innocent complainants in a land sale deal by manipulating revenue records. A case against FIR No. 19/2011 u/s 420, 467, 468, 471 & 120-B RPC stands registered against them.
According to the Crime Branch spokesperson the organizations registered a Case FIR No. 19/2011 u/s 420, 467, 468, 471 & 120-B RPC against the accused persons Ravinder Gupta @ Gola Shah son of Suraj Parkash Jandyal resident of Jammu, Joginder Singh son of Ram Saran resident of Sunjwan, Jammu and Late Chet Singh son of Bhag Singh resident of Sunjwan, Jammu who by hatching criminal conspiracy cheated the innocent complainants in a land sale deal by manipulating revenue records.
"Following a written complaint lodged by one Kuldeep Raj Gupta son of Late Rajmal Gupta resident of Ward No. 1, R.S. Pura, Jammu and another was received at the Crime Headquarters alleging therein that they had purchased land measuring 04 kanals falling under Khasra No. 643-Min situated at Greater Kailash, Jammu through one Ravinder Gupta @ Gola Shah who got executed the sale deed in their favour from another party namely Chet Singh son of Bhag Singh resident of Sunjwan, Jammu through his attorney holder Joginder Singh S/o Ram Saran resident of Sunjwan on 22.02.1992 in the Court of Sub-Registrar (Munsiff), Jammu, the spokesperson said and added complaint further alleged, "After executing the sale deed, they requested the said Ravinder Gupta @ Gola Shah to accompany them for taking over possession and for affecting mutation of land in revenue records, but the said Ravinder Gupta never acceded to their requests from time to time since February 1992.
The said Ravinder Gupta with the support of some goons started threatening them of dire consequences if they tried to obtain possession or take any step for mutation of the said land in revenue records.
On receipt of this complaint, an enquiry was initiated in Crime Branch, Jammu and during the course of enquiry it was found that Joginder Singh and Late Chet Singh by hatching a criminal conspiracy with Ravinder Gupta @ Gola Shah and disposed of four kanals already sold to the complainants to different persons thereby cheating innocent persons. The role of revenue officials is also under scanner. Investigation of the case is in progress. (JNF)
