| UNEMPLOYED ISM DOCTORS TO INTENSIFY STIR | | | Jammu, Jan 12 The ongoing dharna of the Unemployed ISM doctors association on Friday entered in to fifth day with striking doctors adopting threatening postures warning self immolation bids and intesnifying their stir. Meanwhile condition of two doctors sitting on fast un to death for last three days is stated to be not well as they complained of weakness and nagging headache. President of the association DrChaman Singh said here on Friday the state government is showing no concern about the health of doctors sitting on hunger strike as no one fromthe corridors of power has shown theh courtesy of arrnaging the medical checkup of hungry strikers. he said out of four doctors sittin gon dharna for last three days condition of DrYassir Latief and DrMA Nanda is not well while two others DrSajjad Hakeem and DrSajjad Koka is stated to be stable. It may be mentioned that director of the deaprtment of ISM DrKabir Dar today visited the site of dharna and enquired baout the health of the hungry strikers.DrSingh said the project of NHRM under which AYUSH scheme has to be implemented has not seen light of the day.He said under AYUSH scheme 1513 doctors are to be employed and this scheem can save future of striking doctors as all the finances are taken care of by the central govt. |
