Niaz submits charter of demands to CM

Bhadherwah Dec 17: Former Minister and MLA Bhadherwah Mohd.Sharief Niaz submitted a charter of demands to the Chief Minister Omar Abdulla on the other day on his visit to Bhadherwah University Campus.
.Niaz had a detailed meeting with CM regarding the development activities in the area and submitted a charter of demands that included on priority the allocation of sufficient funds to harness rich potential of tourism in Bhaderwah besides funds made available for most scenic spots of Bhalesa Block and Thathri which have been notified by BDA.
That Atalgarah and Bhalla Miniprojects were put to tenders way back in the year 2004 but till date work could not be executed
Also Neerunalla which has a potential of 30-40 MW of 3-4 projects which have been indentified be taken up in hand for their execution , besides in BhaIesa Tehsil 6-7 micro hydel projects be taken in hand.
That roads aid bridges works taken in hand are going on snail speed and needs to be accelerated by instructing concerned executive agencies to complete the work in time frame. Also the works for which DPR" has already been framed needs to be taken in hands for execution.
Compensation may be sanctioned for land, structures orchards acquired by the government for different developmental schemes especially by all wings of PED Besides the land orchards houses, standing crops grass which do not come under the alignment of road but are totally damaged during execution of work may also be considered for compensation.
Funds may be allotted for the schemes which have been taken from execution without administrative approval and without incorporating in the plan by PWD. in Bhaderwah constituency.
To minimize distance between Dist: Kathua and Doda and to make al1 weather road from Bhaderwah to Basoli execution of tunnel at Chatargalla be taken in hand on priority. Like wise execution of tunnel at Jugasar Bhalssa may also be taken in hand for connecting HimachaI Pardesh which would provide all weather road from Bhalesa to Himachal Pardesh
