| CJM rejects bail | | | Kathua, Jan 12
Chief Judicial Magistrate Kathua, Varinder Singh Bhou today rejected a bail application of an accused Raj Kumar Son of Chain Ram of Lakhanpur in case FIR NO 429 0f 2006, under section 307 Rpc.
After hearing the arguments of chief prosecuting officer and prosecuting officer who appeared for the state and defence council who appeared for the accused, CJM observed that a prima facie offence under section 307 RPC stand fully established against the accused person. Court further observed those other accused who are still to be arrested and to be identified and accordingly rejected the bail application of the accused.
On 29-12-06 at about 12.00pm two persons having Drat in their hand attacked one Puran Chand son of Shiv La1 resident of khokhyal Tehsil Kathua at changran upon the instructions of accused Raj Kumar who was also present at the spot. Puran Chand was grievously hurt in the attack. |
