| Qureshi bags prestigious Global HR Award 2011 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Bashir Ahmad Qureshi hailing from Rajouri has been conferred with 2011 Global Human Rights Protection Award at an impressive function held at Main Auditorium, India International Centre, 40 Lodhi Estate, New Delhi
According to Director DIndian Institute of Human Rights New Delhi, Dr Rahul Rai Bashir Ahmed Qureshi S/o Feroz-din R/o Danore Lahorian, BGSB University District & Tehsil Rajouri has been conferred with 2011 Global Human Rights Protection Award.
“The prestigious award has been given Yuan F Cordero A, Ambassador, Embassy of the Republic of Costa Rica, he added.
Prominent dignitaries present on the occasion were Ms Sushma Kapoor, Deputy Regional Programme Director, South Asia Sub Regional Office, UN Entity for Gender Equality & the Empowerment of Women, Dr Fead Avdic, Ambassador, Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Dr. Rahul Rai, Director of the Indian Institute of Human Rights. Speakers lauded the role of Bashir Ahmad Qureshi and other award recipients for their work in the field of human rights.
