| Simula XI enters final of Christmas Cup | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 17: Simula XI today reached the final of Christmas Cup Twenty20 Tournament after they beat PCDA XI by six wickets in the semi-finals played at Parade Ground, here.
Earlier, batting first, PCDA XI made 121 runs for the loss of eight wickets. Vikram Dogra and Parveen Singh were main contributors with 53 and 25 runs respectively. From Simula XI, Sahil Sharma took three wickets, followed by Dhruv Mahajan and Vikram, who shared two each.
In reply, Simula XI chased the target, rather easily, making 126 runs for the loss of four wickets sparing 3.5 overs of their innings. Dhruv Mahajan (36), Bandeep Singh (35) and Hardeep Singh (30) runs was main scorers.
Dhruv Mahajan was declared man of the match.
Now, in the final, to be played tomorrow, Simula XI shall take on Jammu and Kashmir Police XI.
