| DIC Kathua organizes Symposium | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATHUA, DECEMBER 17-District Information Centre (DIC), Kathua organized a symposium on the topic ‘Role of Education in Child development’ at Government Middle school (Boys) Chack Desa Singh here today.
Headmistress Government Middle school (Boys) chack Desa Singh Miss Pravjot Kour was the chief guest on the occasion. The staffs of the school and feeding schools were also present on the occasion.
Eleven students from Govt Middle School (Boys) Chack Desa Singh, Government Primary school Kukachack, Government Primary school Manketalab and Government Primary School Chack Sonanupa participated in the symposium.
While speaking on the occasion Chief guest Miss Pravjot Kour thanked the Information department for organizing the symposium. She said that such programme provide a platform to the students to express their views. She also said that such programme are necessary for the all round development of the child and to achieve the real meaning of education.
The judgment of the symposium was done by Sh. Darshan Kumar, Miss Anmol Ishar and Smt Renu Bala.
The prestigious first position was bagged by Lakhwant Singh of Government primary School Kukachack while Laxman of Govt. Middle school (Boys) Chack Desa Singh secured the 2nd position. The Third position was secured by Sukhwinder Singh of Government Primary school Kukachack.
Later, the mementos were presented to the top three position achievers and certificates to all the participants.
