Traditions continue: Omar leaves for Christmas holidays | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 18: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah reportedly has planned to have a comfy holidays from his monotonous political life that has put him in pressure from allies and the opposition as well as and thus Chief minister reportedly had planned to go for Christmas and New Year holidays. High placed sources on authorized anonymity told that without making it public, Chief Minister today left for London to join his mother and other members of the family for Christmas celebrations. “Though Omar used spent around a week in London every year but this year chief minister reportedly has taken time off for a longer holiday to give vent to the restlessness and soreness caused by the recent dragging in Haji Yousuf’s mysterious death and wordy war over revocation of AFSPA, sources said further adding that Chief Minister’s father and union Minister Dr Farooq Abdullah would also be joining family meet by next week. According to sources, Omar was planning to stay in London until the New Year celebrations and was expected to return to India early January. |
