Addressing the inaugural session, Shamsher Singh Manhas said that Jammu city is the nerve centre for the party and more the strong it is, party at the state level will get strengthened. Manhas said the focus of NC, PDP and Congress is less to unite the people for a strong nation and more to work for self interests.
“The Chief Minister, instead of solving the problems, is complicating and inviting public resentment across the state by making controversial statements and taking anti-people and anti-youth decisions, he said further adding, “the recent employment policy is a cruel joke with the educated unemployed youth.’
Lambasting the state government’s policies, he said that are lakhs of educated unemployed youth in Jammu but the government has no concrete policy to provide them job avenues. “If the government concentrates on developing the tourist spots in Doda, Bhaderwah, Kishtwar, Bani, Basohli, Rajouri and Poonch, it could have generated employment to thousands of youth. He also criticized that the graph of corruption is going up, people are not getting regular water and electricity.

He asked the government to hold the election to Urban Local bodies without wasting a moment and expressed confident that the BJP will be the winner in maximum.
