| Police Distt. Border organizes “Bada Khana” | | | Jammu|Jan12
Police District Border, Jammu today organized a “Bada Khana” at Police Lines, Border Jammu to collectively celebrate the festivals of Eid, Gurupurab and Lohri this afternoon.
IGP Jammu, S.P. Vaid was the special guest on the occasion. Prominent persons of the area were also invited on the occasion.
In his address, Vaid extended the greetings of New Year, Eid, Gurupurab and Lohri and wished for the well being of all later a “Bada Khana” was organized for the police personnel and other visiting dignitaries. Earlier, S.S.P Border, Rajinder Gupta delivered the welcome address. He welcomed all the people to the joint celebration of all three festivals. It is to be mentioned that Police District Border is holding such programmes from time to time.
