| Jeevan Nagar residents rue erratic power supply | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu Dec 19: A meeting of the locals of Jeevan Nagar under the presidentship of Om Parkash Sharma, a social activist discussed different problems being faced by the residents of locality particular irregular supply of power.
Chairperson Om Prakash and others highlighted that eight months back, the residents of Jevennagar met Raman Bhalla Revenue Minister and apprised of irregular power supply in Jeevan Nagar and an application was also submitted in writing.
The locals informed the minister that one more Transformer is needed to share the load of the area which has almost 150 houses. Minister Raman Bhalla listened to request and recommended the case to Executive Engineer M&RE Division Gandhi Nagar Jammu and requested him to install another Transformer.
Om Parkash Sharma said that Executive Engineer told us that the Minister has already communicated in this regard but till date nothing has been done in this regard. “More than 8 months have passed but the 10 day of the concerned authorities yet have not passed, he said.
