| Proper scheme for rehabilitation of nomads demanded | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Dec 19A meeting was organized by Akhil Bhartiya Gujjar Maha Sabha under the chairmanship of Eshfaq-ur Rehman Poswal at Jeora Farm RS Pura.
The meeting was attended by prominent members of Gujjar community of the area. Participants of the meeting expressed their grave anguish over the plight of Gujjars of the area.
The problems discussed in the meeting included formulating of a proper scheme for rehabilitation of nomads of RS Pura and other adjoining area, non availability of animal husbandry dispensary in Jeora Farm, non availability of roads in Jeora Farm, non utilization of funds under S.C.A to T.S.P and article 275 and other center sponsored scheme meant for nomads in Jeora farm and other adjoining areas.
Poswal speaking on the occasion reiterated the resolve of their organization in promoting the cause of Gujjar community and fight for the constitutional rights of Gujjar community/ nomads to achieve their rightful place amongst the developed and well of communities of the country further elaborated on the subject Poswal appealed to the concerned ministers and especially those belonging to Gujjar Community
