Discriminative attitude towards Kashmiri Pandits lambasted | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Dec 19: Kashmiri Hindu Conference executive body met under the chairmanship of M.L Thusoo. The meeting lambasted the state govt for its discriminative attitude towards Kashmiri pundits.
Speaking on the occasion the president M.L.Thusoo cited some examples in this behalf. The withholding of HRA and CCA arrears in favour of migrant employees despite of Apex court decision and non implementation of PM’s employees package was discussed.
The encroachment of Temple shrine lands, cemetery grounds and Deveasthans in entire valley and not passing temples shrine bill is slow process of poisoning the grass roots of Pundits in valley. Even the deserved posts of categories have not been filled so far, not to talk of launching of welfare schemes for the destitute community of K.P. migrants.
P.L.Koul Budgami the convener said,” the loss of rule of right” is the main hurdle for the community to regulate their life in valley.
Elaborating the term justice he said, it is a human virtue and bond a quality to make a person good and social. The discontentment because of exodus has made the community members as wander souls living aimlessly.
Krishan Lal Ganjoo the service president stressed for some welfare measure for the families living below poverty line.
He also appealed for the immediate disposal of medical claims of the patients lying in the dustbins of the administration for a longtime now.
He made an appeal to the powers that be to have human heart while disposing of the migrant problems.
