BAR Association Kathua holds protest | | | Early Times Report KATHUA , December 19 : A massive protest procession was taken out by advocates under the banner of BAR Association Kathua against the state Government and demanded the immediate revocation of the Government’s order of snatching of land registration work from judiciary to revenue department.
On the occasion Advocate Arvind Gupta, Advocate Subash Sharma, Advocate Ajat Shatru, Rakesh Thakur and Advocate Tarlok Nath Gupta lambasted on the Government’s order of shifting the land registration work to revenue and termed it as a conspiracy to boost the land mafia which is led and encouraged by most of the politicians and bureaucrats of the state.
The said today we can see all around the state particular in Jammu province that the majority of the politicians along with their yes-men bureaucrats grabbed illegally the uncalculateable acres of land in JK state which is the major slap on the innocent people of the state.
They said that if the work of land registration would shift from judiciary to revenue then there is no doubt on the flourishing of culture of land grabbing system in the state because the politicians, bureaucrats with the collaboration of land mafia is already so much strong and influential and after this new rule they get more strong and become able to prepare the papers of illegal encroachment at their home easily which would never be challenged or objected by anybody or authority so this policy is not only against the judiciary but also anti-common man of the state.
To make successful shut down in the favour of BAR association the president of Kisaan Ekta Manch Master Mahindra Singh and the president of Youth Movement Sanjeev Verma both have declared the full support on the behalf of their concerned organizations.
The Sarv Dharam Sewa Samiti(SDS) organized a press conference and declaired its full support to the shut down called by the BAR Association Kathua.
