| Tree Talk celebrates foundation day | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 19: Tree Talk campaign completed its year long journey today with 82 episodes to its fold and the occasion was celebrated as Tree Talk Foundation Day in the Botanical Garden of Jammu University.
More than 180 participants drawn from far away locations like Achhabal, Zakura, Ladakh, Padder, Kishtwar, Udhampur, Kathua, Akhnoor, Doda ,Rajouri , Jammu, Srinagar ,Himachal Pradesh gathered to celebrate first birth anniversary and marked the occasion by laying of a Tree Talk Foundation Stone at the entrance gate of Botanical Garden.
HOD Botany Deptt Prof Anima Langer while appreciating the contribution of Tree Talk enthusiasts led by O P Sharma Vidyarthi felt satisfaction that campaign has emerged as one of most popular environmental awareness programme highlighting traditional and modern uses of biodiversity and its direct and indirect impact on state economy.
