Basantgarh, Dec 20: A series of warm, impressive and emotional farewell meets were organized across the nooks and corners of Dudu Basantgarh Sub Division including Tehsil Headquarters located at Ramnagar to honour, compliment and express gratitude to outgoing Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Amit Sharma for phenomenal contributions towards surging Dudu Basantgarh as model Sub Division of Jammu & Kashmir.
The unending sequence of emotional send-off ceremonies which got initiated right from Basantgarh and continued through Shivgali, Kirchi, Dudu, Latti Dhuna and Ramnagar areas of Sub Division during past couple of days in which public showered all love and affection upon outgoing SDM Amit Sharma who has been promoted as Additional Secretary to Government, Revenue Department in Civil Secretariat after rendering two years of relentless and creative contributions across the length and breadth of Dudu Basantgarh.
Lot of emotional scenes were witnessed during the farewell functions in which the public in unison thanked SDM Amit Sharma for providing an able and efficient administration in Dudu Basantgarh by taking it to doorsteps of a common man through Public Durbars, Awareness Camps, Inspection Drives, Sports and Cultural Events, Environmental Protection Programmes and many more other innovative activities.
