Jammu West Assembly Movement takes out protest

Jammu, Dec 20 : Massive protest rally was taken out and demonstrations were held today at various places on the call of the “Jammu Bandh” by the Jammu West Assembly Movement in which various movement leaders, traders, prominent citizens, heads various trade unions of bazaars and mohhala committees participated and held strong protest on the Amphalla New Plot Janipur Road, Sarwal, Rehari , Talab Tillo , BakshiNagar, Subhashnagar, Shaktinagar, against the anti people land transfer policy of the coalition Congress National Conference Govt. which has been transferred to the revenue department.
The effigies of the wrong land transfer policy of the coalition govt were burnt and the agitation has been intensified by the Movement for revocation of the land policy and the traffic was badly disrupted by the protestants on the Amphalla-Janipur road .
The rally culminated at Sarwal-Rehari.
Addressing the protestants Sunil Dimple President Jammu West Assembly Movement congratulated and thanked to the people for making Jammu Bandh a grand success from Lakhanpur to Banihal.
Sunil Dimple strongly criticized, condemned the misuse of power and expressed great shock over the news item appearing in the news papers that the cabinet minister of the J&K state is misusing his powers and threatening the police officers and the civil administration officers for the land records .
Sunil Dimple said this news item proves that our stand for the “ Jammu Bandh” and land transfer policy is correct as the revenue department will be misused by the land mafia and these ministers.
He demanded the chief minister to look in to the matter.
He demanded the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to immediately roll back this anti people policy of his Govt which will badly affect the common man of the state.
He said we will continue the agitation unless this demand of the people is accepted.
He asked the Congress and the National Conference parties to clear their stand ? He also appealed the people of the state to get united and said we will fight till the goal is achieved.
Sunil Dimple said the misdeeds anti people policies of the Govt will badly hit the and put the people of the state and put them in a great trouble if this “New Registry Policy” act implemented in the state by the Govt.
Dimple demanded and appealed the chief minister Omar Abdulla to clear his Govt stand.
