| Implementation of RTI in Ramban reviewed | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU , December 20 : Chief Information Commissioner, J&K reviewed the implementation of Right to Information Act in District Ramban. All PIOs and APIOs of the district were present in the meeting. The Chief Information Commissioner interacted with the concerned officers and discussed the details. The Chief Information Commissioner made the officers aware of the different sections of the Act and Rules. He further emphasized and stressed that the Act Rules shall be implemented in letter and spirit.
After interacting with the concerned officers the Chief Information Commissioner interacted with the Cross Section of civil society including Senior Citizens of the district, NGO’s and Sarpanches besides members of the Bar. The Chief Information Commissioner made the people aware about the RTI Act. He got the copies of Act in Urdu distributed among the people who attended the meeting.
The people thanked the Chief Information Commissioner for sparing the time to interact with them.
