| Pace up works across border areas: Gupta | | | Early Times Report
KATHUA , December 20 : Providing road connectivity to every nook and corner of the state and ensuring all basic amenities to the people is priority of the state Government said Subhash Gupta , Member of Legislative Council (MLC).
Subhash Gupta said that after inaugurating a construction of 1 km link road from Marheen Nav Chack to village Lacchi Pur, executed at a cost of Rs. 15.20 lakhs under District Plan in Hiranagar Constituency.
Gupta stressed upon the executing agency to redouble their efforts and accelerate pace of all going works across border area and its peripheries.
He directed them to ensure use of quality material in execution of the work, adding that the object of the Government was to build durable basic infrastructure across the state for providing better facilities to the people.
Subash Gupta today exhorted upon the people to extend full cooperation in carrying forward the development initiatives of the Government and keep a close watch on the work being executed by various agencies in their respective areas.
The people of the area apprised the MLC about their demands and grievances related to construction of lanes and drains, shifting of damage electric wires, electric polls, un-irrupted power supply, fresh BPL survey, pension of widow and old age people.
To improve electricity facilities to the people of Chandwan, MLC Subash Gupta inaugurated 100 KVA transformer under CDF. Ex MLA Prem Lal, Sarpanch Bishan Dass Sangra,Vidhya Sagar, Sarpanch Yogesh Singh, Sarpanch Rakesh Sharma and a large number of people present on the occasion.
