| JU SC/ST Employees ask VC to fulfill his commitment | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu Dec 20: Jammu University SC/ST Employees Association today urged the Vice Chancellor Jammu University to concede to demands raised by the SC/ST employees time and again.
They said that JU administration has claimed that disputed appointment case of R L Kaith was settled but the issue yet has not settled.
Meanwhile Kaith also met the present Vice-Chancellor Professor Varun Sahni and apprised him of the full facts with regard to his case, Professor Sahni too assured Kaith that he would discuss the issue with Chancellor but even after lapse of more than two years’ time Professor Sahni has not acted on his given assurance.
Despite the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir had issued an ‘Interim Order’ for consideration of Kaith as Assistant Registrar, the University authorities too, failed to honour the same they said.
The Association urged the Vice Chancellor Professor Varun Sahni to see the case of R L Kaith.
