JP World defeated Sri Ram Cricket Club (SRCC) by 124 runs in the ongoing RCA cup played at GGM Science College.
JP World after winning the toss, elected to bat first scored a huge total of 234 runs in the allotted 25 over.
Ajit Paul was the top scorer from JP World and remained unbeaten on 42 in 14 balls hitting three fours and four consecutive sixes in the last over of the first innings of the match. Ajit and Manik added the Valuable partnership of 53 runs in last 4 over for the last wicket.Shafqat scored 35 in 21 balls while Aditya and Vijay Dogra contributed with 29 and 35 runs. The extras in the first innings were 15.
Bhim and Dhaman from SRCC took wickets each while Arun and Deepak got one each.
Chasing the massive target of 234 SRCC was bundled out for just 110 score in just 17.2 overs.Bhim was the top scorer from SRCC with 35 runs. Vicky contributed 14 runs to the teams’ total.
Raman Dutta was the most successful bowler with 5 wickets to his name. While Vijay took 3 and Raja got 2 wickets.
Vijay Dogra (JP World) was adjudged as the man of match for his all round performance having 3 wickets & 43 runs to his name.
