| Backward Classes Union urges govt to look into demands of BCs | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu Dec 20: J&K Backward Classes Union in a meeting held under the chairmanship of S Suchet Singh, President of Backward Class Union discussed the issues and problems of community and urged state govt for early redressal of pending demands of the forgotten people.
Prominent members namely Abdul Gani Teli, Chairman of the Union, Ayudhya Kumar Manawa, Chief Patron of the Union, Kasturi Lal Dy SP (Retd) President Sain Samaj and Labha Ram Gandhi Vice President of the BCU and Rakesh Kumar General Secretary of host organization highlighted their issues and appealed to the Govt for early redressal of the genuine and long pending demands of these down trodden communities as agreed by the Chief Minister of the State in the first meeting of the Advisory Board meeting of OBC of the State. They underscored that the various schemes of the State as well as Central sponsored schemes have failed to reach to the people who direly needed their upliftment..
Meanwhile Suchet Singh, Ayudhya Kumar, Abdul Gani Teli and Kasturi Lal have rejected the news item mentioning their names for being present at a press conference convened by the Vice Chairman, State Advisory Board of OBC other day.
Others who attended the meeting Karta Chand, Bua Ditta, Madan Lal, KC Verma, Rattan Lal Kashyap, Chajju Ram, Tilak Raj, Vijay Kumar, Surinder Bhushan, Jagdish Raj etc.
