EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Dec 21: Jammu West Assembly Movement while terming the Jammu Bandh as a historic one has thanked all the educational institutions, transporters, traders, industries, colleges, and the people of the state for observing complete bandh on the day. Sunil Dimple , president JWAM said that he will continue and intensify the agitation in the coming days.
Massive “Jammu Bandh” was observed in which the large number of movement leaders, traders, prominent citizens, heads various trade unions of bazaars and mohalla committees joined to make the strong Jammu band, held against the anti people land transfer policy of the coalition Congress National Conference Govt. which has been transferred to the revenue department.
Sunil Dimple congratulated and thanked to the people and all the sister organizations for historic complete Jammu Bandh a grand success.
Sunil Dimple strongly criticized, condemned the misuse of power and expressed great shock over the news item appearing in the news papers that the cabinet minister of the J&K state is misusing his powers and threatening the police officers and the civil administration officers for the land records .
Sunil Dimple said this news item proves that our stand for the “ jammu bandh” and land transfer policy is correct as the revenue department will be misused by the land mafia and these ministers.
He demanded the chief minister to look in to the matter.
‎Sunil Dimple said the people have out rightly rejected this appeal of Deputy Chief Minister to defer the bandh call which was not possible as sufficient time was given to the govt for the review but the Govt did not bothered for 25 days.
He said we will not call off the agitation as JWAM has made up its mind to go ahead, with the indefinite struggle unless the Govt "Revoke and with draw the Land Transfer Policy." He said only the, " with drawl" of the "land transfer policy" can call of the agitation .
He said the people of the state are united now and have only one point agenda, that is revoke the policy.
