JJSF voice concern against private tuitions | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Dec 21: Jammu Joint Students Federation today held a protest under the supervision of Sahil Singh (President of JJSF in G.G.M Science College ) against the state govt. for taking no step against the privatization of education and against govt. teachers and lectures still providing private tutions. Various coaching institutes has been developed and taking a large amount for the coaching fees. Only students from rich families can take coaching and it is almost impossible for children from middle class and poor families to take coaching, but their parents have dreams to see them as an engineers or doctors. Due to large fees, they cannot get coaching and the result is that only students who have taken coaching get seats in entrance exams result. They opined those who spend much on couching gets success whereas poor students cannot fulfill their dreams. Sahil Singh demanded govt to take some action against it and minimize the amount of fees, so that every student can fulfill his dream. He warned that if coaching institutes do not do that then strict action be taken against them as JJSF is ready to fight against this to give all students their right to get better education. Sahil Singh also demanded to take strict action against the govt. teachers and lectures still giving private tuitions. The main activists of JJSF during protest were Dhiraj Sharma (vice president of JJSF),Pradeep Chib (chairman of JJSF),Irfan Khan (vice secretary ),Vipan Lachotra (general secretory ),Ankush Karan Singh,Sahil Charak,Vicky Chib,Anmol Sharma,Mohd. Afaq, Jimmy and others.
