| Grand Parents Day celebrated in KV | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU , December 21 : In K.V Bantalab Grand Parents Day was celebrated with great pomp and show. The function was presided over by the Chief Guest Sunita Shekhawat VMC member of Vidyalaya.
A very colorful song and Dance was presented in their honour. After that two skits were presented which were conveying the message that we should never neglect our grand parents. They must be given due respect, love and affection in the family.
After the items were over Principal Sushma Thapar addressed the gathering and gave away the prizes to the senior most grand parents. After that one album was presented to one of the grandmother from her granddaughter. Shekhavat too delivered a speech on the occasion and laid stress that it is the moral duty of every child to look after their grandparents and give them due regards in the family. In the end vote of thanks was presented by Meena Dhar.
