| JYM asked VC CU to remove corrupt OSD (Admn) | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU , December 21 : The Jammu Youth Morcha (JYM) has asked the Vice Chancellor, Central University of Jammu to without delay remove OSD (Admn) Dr P S Pathania from the post, otherwise exposed to launch full fledged agitation against the University administration.
Addressing a press conference here today, JYM President Dr Sanjay Sharma said,” There are many cases of corruption awaiting against Dr Pathania in University of Jammu. He steadfast more than a few frauds in JU misusing his official positions. Now, the cases are being probed by high level enquiry committee headed by Chief Secretary Madhav Lal."
This is highly untoward thing that widely qualified and careful gentleman, who is now the Vice Chancellor of Central University took the services of a corrupt person like Dr Pathania, he added.
He further said that it is commencement of the Central University and VC Dr S S Baloria made a wrong start by calling Dr Pathania on deputation to the University.
He requested Dr Baloria to without delay correct his mistake vis-a-vis deputation of Pathania and save the esteemed forthcoming University from the authority of corruption. He hoped that Dr Baloria would verify the credentials of Pathania from JU Vice Chancellor and Higher Education Department and soon make amendment in his unwise decision.
He announced that if VC won't correct his mistake, the activists of JYM will stage demonstration in front of the VC office.
Among those who were present in the press conference included Sonika Sharma, Amit Gupta, Neeraj Singh and Imran.
