| Govt completely ignoring PDD daily wagers | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU , December 21 : Need base workers and daily wagers of Power development department(PDD) are on a continuous strike in Rajouri in favour of their demands.
Under the banner of All daily wagers union, these need base workers and daily wagers are sitting on dharna from past many days inside the power station Thudi. In a press statement issued today by this union, they said that a big number of PDD need base workers are not being given salary from a long time while many daily wagers have completed several years extra than fixed scale but they are not been regularised.
These striking workers also showed resentment towards CM Omar and said he also has not fulfilled his promise and alleged that the state government is showing anti-friendly policy with them.
