Red Cross continues its charity mission

Jammu Dec 21: Red Cross District Branch Jammu under the directions of Chairman, District Red Cross Society, Jammu (Deputy Commissioner, Jammu) continuing its benevolent and generous mission as its motto suggests today offered its helping hand to many needy people.
Spokesperson said that Red Cross following the missionary zeal today provided one pacemaker to the poor patient to save her precious life, 02 motorized tricycles to the two poor /needy handicapped. “Besides these the Red Cross Society had also distributed quilts & blankets to the deserving persons, arranged coffins for dead bodies who lost their lives in a tragic accident at Ramban, on 24-10-11, distributed Rs 30,000/- to 30 injured persons of Nandani road accident and on Nov 16 and also distributed Rs7,000/- to 6 injured persons of Doda accident, spokesperson said.
